Squishnu

Since jumping the shrimp at Martha's Vineyard this summer, Barry has had a tough time finding worshipers. But in India, where gods are a rupee a dozen, he found an audience already primed for mysterious double-talk.

Do you morons realize that Hinduism is a monotheistic religion? You will not believe this I am sure but if you had an iota of curiousness you would learn about Hinduism first before making such stupid caricatures. And to be frank, Hindus couldn't care less if you caricature their "Gods". Go right ahead, we can only chuckle. Try doing that to Muhammad and see what THEY do.

Quote - Yet the ultimate revelation of the Upanishads is that the self (atman) is identical with Brahman. Life is therefore best spent not in rituals and offerings to the gods, but in deep meditation on the self until this truth is experienced firsthand. - end quote

So is Hinduism nothing more than a self-seeking religion?

Meditating on ones naval and ignoring the lint seems a fine way to live one's life but accomplishes little. The time would be better served seeking the one true God, creator of the universe and after finding Him seeking His will for one's life.

One statement helped me decide on Christianity. Speaking of Jesus Christ and his resurrection from the dead, "He's still alive!"

He did not die again. He is still alive and he is ready to prove that by touching your life and literally revealing Himself to you. Don't believe me or trust what I say. Ask Him to prove himself to you. Since he is still alive He can hear your requests.

You're not supposed to capitalize pronouns.
